The Sylvesters are a dynamic singer-songwriter duo made up of cousins Janay Sylvester and Nicole Sylvester. Both artists have built solo careers—Nicole released her debut single “Gave You Everything” in 2015, and Janay (performing as Ayminor) released her debut EP Tyme Machine in June 2022—but they have always wanted to collaborate on a project. As so many of their previous live performances centered around the holidays, they knew a holiday EP, A Sylvester Christmas, was the perfect place to start. Drawing on their family’s rich history with gospel music, their music pairs two strong voices for a fresh take on a few holiday classics as well as original music that audiences are sure to love.
